If you have a bunch of headstone transcriptions, you should make a free space page of them. It would be best if they are all from the same cemetery, then you could link the page to the appropriate project page. If you need any help, let me know.

Thank you for answering. I never thought of a free space page. What is a project page and where do I find this page? I only find a link in a question or comment "help is needed with headstone transcriptions" which includes a link from WT to Google Photos to download the headstones. Good suggestion to keep separate free space pages per cemetery. I would greatly appreciate the help to answer questions that I have. Thank you

These photos are on Wikitree from 2018. I was able to read some and want give the information to back to Wikitree.
Transcriptions can be placed in the description of the images here on WikiTree.
I'm a rookie with WT. All I have is the question "Cemetery headstone reading challenge" from Sep11, 2018. In the question is a link to Google photos and no place to post findings.
Thank you for the answer. When I've finished I'll add to Find-A-Grave memorials.

Hi Patty,

Have you had a look at the Cemeterist Project? They work on adding headstone photos to profiles, creating cemetery free space pages, and transcribing the information from headstones. If you're interested in joining the project or learning more about it have a look at this g2g post.

I have a Cemeterist badge on my page, if there is someplace I need to login I'll be happy to do so. Thanks Robin for the suggestion.
Hi Patty, look for a private message from me. Thanks.
Robin, thank you for answering, please look for a private message from me.

You've already taken the first step by posting a reply on the original thread. The original requester said "Feel free to comment on the photos or right here," so you can either leave a comment on the Google Photo page for each headstone, or you can leave your transcriptions in the original G2G thread.

Or, if you don't get a response in that thread (it's only been 10 hours even now), you can try sending a private message to Childs-1667 to get his or her attention that way.

Patty, the Cemeterist Project no longer recommends that the list of interments be put on the free space page.  On this page you will find an outline for a cemetery space page  https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Cemetery_Pages   We recommend putting the photos on each individual profile and categorizing them in their proper cemetery.

I have so many more photos than I can ever handle and put a lot on Google pages so that the cemeterist teams that only want to work on making profiles or are only able (maybe they are not capable of physically going to a cemetery) can work on making profiles for them.  You can find the information about the different teams from the cemeterist project page.

Also forgot to add to make sure there is not already a free space page or a cemetery page before setting one up.
