Looking for my grand grand fathers parents his name was Moise Gleason born december 1860.

I thought that John Gleason was his father and Cora Despalangue was his parents but can't find  any proof. Does any one have any information.

I am looking for the parents of Moise and going through some records.

Oddly enough... I found a profile for him on WikiTree then clicked on it and realized it was you (or rather the profile you made for Moise).

It is great that you wish to honor him by creating a profile here and connecting him to his ancestry... but he needs his own seperate profile apart from yours.

You should make adjustments to your profile so that it represents you and your information, then add a profile for your parents, grandparents, etc... including creating a new profile for Moise.

Then when you post a new question about him here in G2G you can provide a link to his profile and get the very best results.

John Gleason and Cora Despalangue married on 20 Nov 1888 in Avoyelles, Louisiana. He would be too young. Maybe he's another sibiling.

Parents to Moise Gleason (husband of Odile Leonie Corneau Clement) and Mary Jane Gleason (wife of Charles Beaudoin) are:

John and Esther Courval, married on January 25, 1860 in Ottawa.

John's origin is England. He would have been born around 1823, and is the son of John and Mary Ann Cull. He was baptised on the same day as his wedding. He died before the 1881 census, but after the 1871 one.

In 1871, John, Esther, Moise and Mary Jane reside in Hull, Québec, near Esther's family.

Esther was born on February 11, 1829 in Mascouche, Qc, daughter of Francois and Esther Pelletier. After John's death, she remarried to Joseph Vanasse, widow of Rose St-Jean. She died on June 1, 1899 in Hull, QC.
