Migive is the place, I was told by a elderly relation years ago, that my gt gt grandfather John Anderson who was married to Isabella Wellwood or Alison Wallwood had a croft there and they had a child my gt grandfather John. After Isabella or Alison died John snr remarried a Ann Taylor had more children. Ann Taylor didn't want my gt grandfather in the family and farmed him out.

I think John snr's parents were John Anderson and  someone  Esson. I think first name Jane I know nothing about Isabella Wellwood/Alison Wallwood at all

I have a very large file of Aberdeenshire related familes .. with quite a lot of them from Tarland/Strathdon area (Tarland and Migvie can be Strathdon and/or Tarland)

there's not that many Anderson's in it to be honest, but that's because I've not yet had to analyse an Anderson further.. e.g.I have a Duncan Anderson (b. abt 1760), with no further details though he is likely from Tarland.(he's married to a Bathia Downie)

If you are looking at Scotlands People don't be too accurate with that Tarland and Migvie parish name, also look for Strathdon and/or Tarland and/or Corgarff
