I really need help.  The more I read about Samuel Jackson, the more confusing he is.  I am confident that Samuel is my 4th gggf, but which Samuel Jackson and from where?  I would appreciate any helpful eyes that might assist me in finding him.

I think there maybe some confusion in this profile here is information on the Dr. Joseph Jackson who was a doctor in Limavady  does this match with what you know of this family?  https://books.google.ca/books?id=2gRFAQAAMAAJ&pg=PA320&lpg=PA320&dq=limavady,+antrim,+ireland,+joseph+jackson&source=bl&ots=2v3lXQkQTx&sig=ACfU3U1G5zZq6B1j6ga-

This appears to be an ongoing search still not settled to this date as to what family is connected to Andrew Jackson but perhaps some of their information will have mention of your ancestor https://www.thesilverbowl.com/documents/1748Feb25-TODD-JACKSON.html

There is a Jackson family in Liverpool at the time mention, if you search Liverpool, England 1723 Samuel Jackson there is information on one but if that is your Samuel Jackson???? He is not listed in the baptism records for Liverpool for around that date https://www.lan-opc.org.uk/Liverpool/Liverpool-Central/stpeter/baptisms_1719-1723.html

It is questionable since his father lived and died in Ireland and all his siblings were born in Ireland.
So, you have touched on the confusion that I have found in searching for my Samuel Jackson.  I haven’t found his birth date, christening/baptism, or his parents.

Thank you.  I continue to search.

The Samuel of Ireland born 1737 would only be 9 years of age if Married in 1746.

Thanks for reminding me that I need to put them all in a spreadsheet with the different dates so I can eliminate such as this.  The list is growing as I look at different trees.  It’s amazing that people just copy and paste without sources or any verification.
I wore myself out many years ago trying to sort Samuel and Catherine out. We still need sources for birth and marriage records.
Looking.  I have joined a couple of English genealogy FB groups and posted message.  Several people have responded.  I need to create my spreadsheet and enter all of the info that I collect.

Thank you!
