Why are so many of the 1900 Census now unavailable to view on Family Search?

It seems like most 1900 Census records are now unavailable on Family Search.  Does anyone know why they have been removed and what is happening to fix this?

I think this is temporary or they were moved.

I just looked at one of my citations and the page shows as removed, but if I browse through images, I can find the image.

Kreiger Mellinger household:

Hopefully someone has more insight into the details.

I saw this too. Looks like they made some changes to that Census, and all the citations moved. The entries are still there, but you'd have to replace all the citations with new ones to get them realigned to their new locations. Frustrating...
According to a question asked in their forum, it's a known problem, they've been working on it for weeks now, and so far no resolution.
I've encountered this as well. When I cite a FS source, I usually include both the record/index link and the image link (if there is an associated image). For the problematic sources that I've encountered, the record/index link shows "This Record has been removed.", but the image link still works. On the image page, you can use the Image Index tab (lower left) and scroll to the individual in question and click the record icon next to the name to get to the current iteration of the record/index link.

I don't plan to make any changes to the existing FS source citations until they determine what the problem is and what the resolution is.
