Unknown person in one ancestor's profile

I just found a Maude Kennedy (Kennedy-3943) as a daughter of James Harvey Kennedy (Kennedy-4481) and Sarah Sims (Sims-2445).

I must have added her there but do not remember doing it. I am quite sure she is NOT James and Sarah's daughter.  I am unable to find her in Family Search or Find A Grave with any connection to James or Sarah.

No Maude in the general area of Blount, Tennessee in the 1800's

What should I do?

There is a Maude listed in the bottom link from the Ancestry.com thing.  That must be where you picked up the name.

If it were me, I would remove her as a daughter and make a note in the bio that you have this information but needs further research. That way when you figure out who she is and where her profile should be attached you will still have the data handy.

You created her as one of a sequence of sibs, so perhaps you typed the name wrong and she's really Marge.  Are there any missing?

You've got duplicates of the parents, so you'll need to merge them to collect all the kids in one place.

If there's a child too many, I'd just merge her into one of the others.  If you detach her, she'll just be a blank profile, because there's no other information.
