Does anyone have information about Wally Reid who died in Brunswick County, Virginia between 1846-1860?

Sally Reid born about 1810 was a widow with two sons in the 1860 census of the Meherrin District of Brunswick Co, Va. Her younger son was born in 1846, so her husband must have died between 1846-1860. The  marriage certificate of one son named his father as Wally Reid. The name Wallace appeared several more times in succeeding generations, so Wally may have been Wallace. His two  sons were Littleberry Reid and John W (Wilson or William) Reid. In every succeeding generation there has been a John W. Reid.

I've had a look at the family, and added several profiles and sources to the family tree, but am no closer to finding the proper names of Wally and Sarah.  I did wonder if Sarah's maiden name might be Littlebury, but that led nowhere.  See if any of my additions lead you in the right direction.
