As a Direct descendant of Dr. Pierre ( Peter) Louis Chastain Sr. in France, How do I add the Huguenot TAG?

+4 votes

I am a Direct descendent of Dr. Pierre Chastain Sr., who was born in France in 1638. My moms Grandma was Elizabeth Josephine Shasteen / Chastain born in Winchester, Franklin county, Tennessee in 1865.

I am having trouble adding the “ Huguenot “ Tag.

Not sure what I am doing incorrectly.

Is this the proper way to add the tag?

I wish the code for these was easier to find on the site
On your profile page, top right corner you'll see "Add", click that, a list will come down, pick "Following Tags", click, it will show the Tags you follow and there will be a box where you can add a new Tag.

Hi Terri

I have sent you a private message about this - please REPLY that way to me.  Tags do not concern DNA or lineage or even any ancestor's profile except Your Own - they are your asking WikiTree to inform you whan a G2G discussion opens that concerns the topic "tagged" - in this case, the Huguenot Migration Project.  It is a way to communicate with other project members.

Hope this helps - and do read my message, please

Thanks Chet. I added the Huguenot Tag. If you still don’t see it on my profile, please let me know?

Thanks again
I agree.
