I made a connection to the tree from GG-Grandfather Phillip M Ward (1835-1899) to his brother Richard Ward (1855-1935) then to his wife Mary Ellen (Green) Ward (1854-).   I connected her to her father George Washington Green (1812-1870) who was already existing on the greater tree!
I made a connection through her 5th GGF Phillip Ward.  His Daughter Amy Ward connected to Amy (Ward) Wickersham  Ward-16944.  I also Connected his wife Emey Ward to Allen-1468
This line already had a connection bounty, but thank you Tabatha!!

I have ancestor Estelle Jones' mother, Miranda Avaline (Pennington) Jones attached to father and mother who have profiles on wikitree (Pennington-4139) and Tankersley-328. I will be continuing to fill out this line. Putting in some research notes as I go. Could use someone that is very Civil War records savvy to clear up a question or two with some conflicting information. Having a great time :-)

Thanks for working on those! Since you are in Discord you can post in there for that Civil War help. Let me know if you need anything else.

George W. Young had parents James Young-5969 and Mary Ann Stokes-573 attached during this challenge.  This is not correct. This family lived in Arkansas in 1850 and 1860.

the George W. Young we are looking for living in Perry County, Arkansas in 1850 and 1860 where he married in 1869 and is listed in his father's estate. I am correcting now.

Added Census detail to her record. Kathy already added her mother's record. I started on her maternal grandfather. No G-Grandparents readily available. Louis/Lewis appears to have possibly been a family name. There is a Louis Edwards in Perry Alabama on the 1830 Census. Potential maternal great-grandfather?

Males: 1 - age 5-10 (possibly Franklin/Featherston?), 1 - age 15-20, 1 - age 30-40

Females: 1 - age under 5, 1 - age 5-10, 1 - age 10-15, 1 - age 15-20, 1 - age 20-30

"United States Census, 1830," database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XHP9-N4B : 20 February 2021), Lewis Edwards, Perry, Alabama, United States; citing 60, NARA microfilm publication M19, (Washington D.C.: National Archives and Records Administration, n.d.), roll 3; FHL microfilm 2,330.

Still looking to see if there's a way to link up these two. The thread between them is pretty thin at the moment.

That line appears to be showing from an Ancestry tree. Edwards is a common enough name there could be multiple that could be conflated or confused with one another.
If Lewis is a great-grandparent, his wife may have been Sarah Barefield - a Lewis Edwards married a Sarah Barefield in Perry, Alabama on 7 May 1829. Might be too late if Franklin/Featherston was born 1826, although they may have married late. Still looking.
Do we have the connections verified or corrected on these lines? It sounds like there is a bit of mystery there...
Grandparents are verified. 1 G-Grandparent has been verified. Nothing beyond this.

William Wallace father is William Wallace and his mother is Cordelia Butler, connected Cordelia Bulter to Butler-1279.  Woot that is 3 connections!
David Wallace connected to Wallace-5666
William Wallace father also has a connection Wallace-764  but I didn't notice it until after I created his profile and so I don't know how to merge the two?
