The Casey Collection, full name ''O'Kief, Coshe Mang, Slieve Lougher and the Upper Blackwater in Ireland'' is a massive 16 volume collection of books, records and other data about Cork and Kerry in Ireland's Munster Province reportedly including three million names.

The 16 volumes are available free from FamilySearch and (with much better images) on Ancestry.com.

Although much of the content is also available elsewhere, some including wills, tombstone inscriptions and newspaper announcements may not be.

Since the collection is notoriously difficult to use, this freespace page has a consolidated list of the 16 volumes' contents, links to each volume's name index and suggestions on how to use the source.

Thank you so much for mentioning this awesome Irish source and this wonderful, informative page. It's getting more accessible with these databases now and imperative for early county Kerry research.
