Jeffrey, I see a Samuel Pray (1778-1849) and a Betsey Wentworth (1780-1873) listed as parents a number of places but where I see this it is entirely without documentation and it seems the potential parents were located in York County, Maine. I think the connection is worth exploring, particularly if you can locate a will for Samuel Pray.
