St Louis request for Heloise Dubreiul

I have not made any headway on finding definite proof on who the parents of my 4th great grandmother - Heloise Dubreuil- are (Dubreuil-2).  She married Felix LaGroue (LaGroue-21) in 1843 in St Louis, Missouri. They are next found on the 1850 census in New Orleans, LA.   I have found their marriage written in the corner of the St Louis Old Cathedral church record book, but it does not give any information other than their names.  The wikitree page for Heloise assigns parents to her, but I cannot find any proof of this. Who is looking for a challenge? :-)  Help would be much appreciated!

Is this the information you have?   https://www.genealogy.com/forum/surnames/topics/parent/616/

perhaps if you try to look up the people who are said to be her parents it will give you more information or lead you on to other information?
I am commenting on this in the hopes it will be seen again. The supposed parents cannot be confirmed of either Felix or Heloise. I am leaning towards Felix being from Louisiana as his obituary says he is a native of St James Parish, but I have not been able to verify that either.

Hi Grace,

The attached parents of Heloise are Antoine Dubreuil and Elizabeth Parent. This appears to be the probate estate file for that Antoine Dubreuil (indexed Dubreuill):

"Missouri Judicial Records Historical Database, Probate Estate Files," database with images, Missouri State Archives ([https://s1.sos.mo.gov/records/archives/archivesdb/judicialrecords/Detail.aspx?id=140637 record details], [https://www.sos.mo.gov/Images/Archives/Judicial2/c27516_140637.pdf PDF] : accessed 28 March 2022), '''Probate File Antoine Dubreuill, 1840'''; citing St. Louis County Probate Estate Files, case no. 1568, Microfilm Roll Number c27516.

He appears to have died intestate (without a will). There is mention of the marriage contract between Antoine Dubreuil and Elizabeth Parent on image 13 of 225 in the associated PDF file.

On image 22 of 225 in the associated PDF file, the heirs of the deceased Antoine, given in sworn affidavit by Olympia Newman on 18 Aug 1840, appear to be identified as Olympia Newman (affiant), Zelina, Adelaide wife of Theodule Lagroue, Zoe, Chauvette, and Isabelle, children of the deceased all of whom reside in the County of Saint Louis (no mention of a daughter Heloise).

This appears to be the probate estate file for Elizabeth Parent:

"Missouri Judicial Records Historical Database, Probate Estate Files," database with images, Missouri State Archives ([https://s1.sos.mo.gov/records/archives/archivesdb/judicialrecords/Detail.aspx?id=139735 record details], [https://www.sos.mo.gov/Images/Archives/Judicial2/c27516_139735.pdf PDF] : accessed 28 March 2022), '''Probate File Elizabeth Parent, 1840'''; citing St. Louis County Probate Estate Files, case no. 1567, Microfilm Roll Number c27516.

Thank you for the links!  I have spent quite a bit of time reading the pages and do not find mention of Heloise or Eloise in the probate.  I was hopeful when I saw that Louis Dubreuil was the guardian for E C Dubreuil only to find out that it was for Etienne Chauvet (Chauvette).  Now I am really stumped  - but at least I won't have to waste my time on this particular family going forward!  I appreciate your help.
