Anyone have marriage info on Philemon Morey (Morey-476 )and Susan Button (Button-2111), Dutchess Co, NY around 1760?

Whereas Wanton Morey is documented as marrying Sally Button, is it possible that you have the wrong name for the wife of Philemon Morey? Sometimes family trees get mixed up.

Thats always a possibility, although it has been known to happen, for two family members to marry two other members of another family.  Thats why I'm asking if anybody has any proof.

Yes that is my Philemon in 1790 and his son Wanton

Philemon in 1810 and 1820 in VT.  The real questions are:

-- proving that Philemon's wife is Susan Button

--proving that Susan's father was John Button

--proving that Susan's mother was Hannah Stansbury

Everything else is immaterial as I have seen everything regarding Philemon's life.

I found a 1790 US Census record for Philemon Morey and linked it to his FS and WT profiles. If this is the same person, he was residing at Rutland, VT in 1790.

There is a Wanton Morey living in the same area (Poultney, Rutland, Vermont) in the 1810 and 1820 Census. There is also a (presumably different person) Wanton Morey living in Phelps, Ontario, New York in the 1810 census. How to keep these two individuals from getting mixed up?
