Have you seen the new enhancements to descendant pages?

Hi WikiTreers,

Today we released a round of improvements to descendant pages. In addition to some minor design differences, we added:

  • Uncertain father or mother indicators where appropriate.
  • Confirmed with DNA indicators where appropriate.
  • More complete names for everyone on the page.
  • Marriage dates.
  • Spouse's birth and death dates.
  • Hover-over titles.

Here's an example: Descendants of George Arbuthnot Sr.

Here's an example with some DNA indicators: Descendants of Thomas Roberts.

Thank you to Sir William and others who have suggested these improvements.

If you notice any problems or have questions, post here.

Onward and upward, for the single family tree,

Chris

Hi Chris,

looks great! Thanks!

But do you have any examples of descendant charts showing the uncertain parentages?

Thank you,

Mike
Hi Mike,

Here's one with an [uncertain] indicator: http://www.wikitree.com/genealogy/Nicholas-Descendants-457
Okay thanks, Chris, looks good!
Terrific. Tells me at a glance what I need to work on.
What's great about this is that it reveals profiles lacking birth and death date info. Thanks!
Um, am I missing something?  On the link Chris just shared, I don't see any [undertain] indicators...?
I don't see it either, Lundie.  Would someone please tell us where to look?
It looks like the uncertain indicator there was removed. Presumably the connection became more certain -- which is exactly what we hope would happen on WikiTree. :-)

I'm sure you guys have an uncertain parent somewhere in your tree. Add the indicator and then take a look.
