I am trying to find anything that can prove that the daughter of Ichabod Avery and Mary (Forsyth) Avery is this Eunice. I believe that the Eunice Avery, the daughter of Ichabod Avery, married Caleb Beebe, Jr. of East Haddam, CT. I have no sources other than their marriage record and that they named one of their sons, Ichabod Avery Beebe. Is the Eunice linked to Ichabod Avery in this profile actually an Avery? I would appreciate any help with this. Thanks, Rebecca FYI. The Eunice who is buried in Wolfville, Nova Scotia and died on 23 Feb 1819 was married to a Caleb Forsyth, not a James Forsyth. Also, the this Eunice must have been born ~1766, as she died in 1819 at the age of 55. See https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/133666951/eunice-forsyth
I found 2 females with the name Eunice Avery born at about the right time and place.
The first is the daughter of Ichabod (confirmed in her grandfather's will). No birth date was found but Ichabod is said to have lived from 1719 to 1751 so I estimate she was born between 1739 and 1751.
The 2nd one was the daughter of Christopher. She was baptized on Jan 13, 1740, in Preston, CT.
FindaGrave says Caleb's wife, Eunice, died at 89 in 1829 so she was born about 1740. The birthdate of Dec 18, 1739, in Preston, has been added, but not souced.
The Eunice married to James is found on the Early Ontario settlers in 1783 and she was said to be 38, so born about 1745.
So my best guess is James was married to the daughter of Ichabod and Caleb was married to the daughter of Christopher.
The Eunice married to Caleb Forsyth is said to be Eunice DeWolf but I have nothing to prove that.
