Is there a way to track pending requests to be added to a Trusted List for a Profile?

Seems similar to this question:Is it possible to retrieve a list of all the requests for trusted access status I have made over the past few years?

A simple, short term solution may be to send an email to the requester: so s/he could archive it and manage the followup accordingly.  If this is done, one could set up his email filters to manage this queue.

it would be great if there were. As far as I know - nope.  What I do is try to remember to copy the message I do on the request and then paste it in an e-mail to myself with the WikiID.  I usually forget though.

Thanks  Liz - sounds like the kind of things computers do better than I do: that is : remember things.

Hopefully this query will help
I gotta say, that would be nice.  Perhaps if WikiTree generated an eMail to you when you make a request, as it does when you send someone a private message?

After adding this as an answer, rather than a "related question" - I found that the related question option comes up when a qustion's answered.  So... I made the following a related question also.

Would it be possible to have a profile added to your watchlist - maybe an R category, for requested? - when you ask to be added to the trusted list? That would have the added benefit that you'd be notified of activitiy (like if the profile manager starts managing again - you could re-request; or if the profile gets orphaned, you could then adopt it).

Just a thought... not sure what it would entail technically.

"R" category (for Request) in Watchlist possible?
An 'R' field in the Watchlist is a great idea!

Can I revive this question to see if the answer might be different now?

I want to send an open profile request as I am in contact with descendants of the profile's family - up to three different contacts over the past fortnight.  The spouse was an orphan profile which I adopted.

I *think* I sent a trusted list request to the profile in question a fortnight ago, but am not sure.  I didn't realise it would be so hard to check up on.

There is talk in this thread of a 'related question' but I haven't figured out how to do it that way.
