Question

Who are the parent's of Robert Sylvanus Latimer (TN 1821- MS 1880)? He married Malinda Malone in 1840. Many have listed father as Witherel Latimer but I can find no proof of this connection.

Do you have any verification of Robert's Siblings? Witheral Latimer had at least two sons Thomas and James that can be proved by some SAR records.

According to Find-A-Grave memorial #136557767, Wetherell Latimer (1757-1838) and Margaret (Anderson) Latimer (1772-1820) had 5 sons and 2 daughters.  Sylvanus Latimer (1793-?) was their 3rd son...he married Malinda Maline (sp) according to my information.
