I want to help any genuine person, can this person be checked as genuine by someone at Wikitree?

Hi Roger,

Are they asking to be added to the trusted list for your profile? Unless you know them personally, you may not want to do that because that means they will be able to edit your profile. Some new members don't understand that the trusted list is on a profile-by-profile basis, and may ask for access to your personal trusted list thinking that it will get them access to an ancestor further up in the tree. It's always a good idea to message anyone asking for access to ask them why they want it.

Thank you Erin for your comment, she said in her email that now that she is retired she wants to do more on the family history and thinks we can help each other.

I do not mind her having access to my family history so long as she is genuine but I have no way of checking her out and wondered if the WikiTree hiericy has a recorord of her; I have not put her name or ID as I did not know if this was the right thing to do, but I could send her details on a personal message to you Erin if you could check.

How do you think WikiTree would do that?
