X Marks the spot.

The goal of the Mayflower treasure Hunt is to improve Mayflower Project profiles, by cleaning up profiles and finding the primary sources or reliable secondary sources (the treasure) for descendants of Mayflower passengers.

Rebecca Peterson  (c. 1682-1761) was the daughter of Mary Soule, who was the child of George Soule. George came on the Mayflower as the "servant" of Edward Winslow.

There is basic information about Rebecca from the Mayflower Families in Progress George Soule book is on her profile. Can we find and cite (including url's) the records pertaining to her life.

  • Duxbury (marriage) and Plympton (death) records are in print and online.
  • She gave up her dower rights to property owned by her husband. Google Plymouth County Land Records Family Search.  Look for 18:28 and 27:57. What does it say?
  • She was the administrator for her husband's estate. Plymouth County Probate is at Family search 7:238, 255-6
Thank you
