Introduction for Dwight Ray

Question

My name is Dwight Ray and I am new to WikiTree.  I ahve been working on some basic inputs to get started, and continue to input my family members (and check them against possible matches), beginning with my direct line through my father.  I am trying to determine where my Ray line comes from in Europe, and have hit a brick wall at Ambrose Wray.  I welcome all constructive input.  I have two versions of my family tree, from two different branches of the family, that are very consistent (540 entries in the larger one), descendants of Joseph Ray of Wilkes Co, NC.  I will check Ray names contained in them, for anyone who asks.

I have DNA tests with Family Tree DNA and Ancestry.

i see you have listed your autosomal DNA info - have you also done Y DNA?  Could be very useful in finding the origins of that paternal Ray/Wray line!

Yes, I did Y-37 test at FamilyTree DNA.  Some close matches so far, but no definite connection yet.
