Was there a Lady Mary Holt around 1940 who owned a house large enough to run a staff?

My Welsh father as a young man of about 16 years went to work got a Lady Mary Holt.I always assumed it was in the south of England as he also worked at Blenheim Palace. His name was Edward George Hind.

Sandleford Priory, in Newbury, Berkshire, is indeed now a school.  My father also worked there as a Butler in the 1930's.  I have a photograph of him standing outside the main entrance.  The exterior of the school remains pretty much as it did then - apart from the absence of some foliage.

Lady Mary Holt had a large House at Sandleford Priory, Berkshire, which during the second world war was used as a convelescant home, for the soldiers. Apparently it is now a School.
Many thanks for your answer. This intrigues me, and now I am searching for anything to do with the household.I would love to know what he did there.
