What family do you mean? Yokom doesný sound Dutch, but maybe it was spelled differently before they moved.

No, the Yokom (Joachim, Jochim) name came from Germany. Many settled in Pennsylvinia and were known as Pennsylvania Duetch therefore giving the impression that they were from the Netherlands. Until I researched my husband's ancestry, he always thought he was Dutch.
