I know that Myrtle Waltman Weeks filed for divorce from Guy Weeks in 1916 in Scooba ,Kemper Mississippi but I have never been able to find it or her marriage records ..both of them was from Wisconsin..any help would be awesome

This looks like Myrtle Waltman's birth and death years.    If so, she was about 43 when she divorced Guy.

MYRTLE Waltman and Guy Weeks.

Either she got a divorce or he died.  Because she re married Sydney S. Powell

Myrtle birth May 1892  died Jan26 1968  Mobile County Alabama. Buried at

Magnolia Cemetary, Mobile County Alabama.

Myrtle Weeks applied for a divorce in 1916 in Scooba Ms ...she ran a Notice in the Scooba Herald Star for three weeks , as it appears He abandoned the family .. and his location was unknown at that time...

I am seeking information about the final divorce in hopes that I can at least locate His full name ..Guy Weeks is my Brick wall ...


Yes she did later marry Sydney Powell . both are buried at Magnolia along with her son , daughter and parents ....
