Well, hey, her feathers shouldn't be ruffled -- she should see it as a compliment! How often do we "fight" to be seen as younger than we are?
You only need to read a few census records to see that. And the men weren't above lowering their age at times, too, to seem younger - or older.
(I'm one of the forever 21 brigade -- except in my head I still look as I did at 18, no matter what my mirror shows, or my factual side says.)
My gr-grandma was relegated to being the younger, as well -- she was Margaret and her sister was Elizabeth.
