How and where do I add cited, documented information to an ancestors profle

+6 votes
I'm a recent contributator to Wiki Tree and am not familiar with adding this type of information.

I've been researching the Chasles family for 24 years now and have found several cited, documented stories regarding one of my pre 1700 relatives. Her name is Marie Madeleine Bourgery and is presently listed as Bourgery 1.

I need to know where and how to add these stores, translated from French, to the information to her page..

Do I need to contact the profile managers before changing or adding things?

It never hurts to contact the profile managers as a courtesy. However, Wikitree is a collaborative world tree. You may add info to an open profile & include your documentation for the info added. I'm sure it will be appreciated if accurate.

What Doug said. It would also be great to see those pasted citation numbers converted to real citations.
