Mark Hamill is my 20th cousin. Our common ancestor was born in 1330.

Nice memory.  I remember exactly who I was with and where.  One of the group became the sort of fan who has (even today) all the toys in their original unopened packaging and the movies on various media.

Hi Steve, Star Wars and Jaws! I will never forget standing in line for tickets for the first three Star Wars movies and for Jaws. 

As a matter of fact, we had a memorial service in February for our Mum, who died in January. The little out of the way funeral home was packed. Even my ex-husband, Brian, and his brother, Larry attended. When my nieces, saw them, they started yelling Uncle Brian! Uncle Larry! Remember when we all stood in line and saw the first Star Wars movie? That was 1977 and at that time, my eldest niece was 10, my daughter was 9 and my other niece was 8! THAT memorial turned out to be an Irish wake of sorts and Star Wars played a memorable role for several now very middle-aged family members. Naturally, I am 17 trapped in a 77-year-old body.
