I'm interested in working on the Military and War Project, but I'm a bit unsure of which sub-project is the best fit. I suppose The Great War 1914-1918 would be a start.

I'm a retired female US military officer. So it stands that I've been interested in the historical experiences of females in the military. I've researched quite a bit from those who masqueraded as males to fight, those who served as spies, ambulance drivers, nurses, Red Cross workers, and those who volunteered for the Women's Auxillary Air Force, Women's Army Corps, and Women's Airforce Service Pilots, to the post Vietnam-era women who stood tall in their quest for equality. (I was among the first women who served aboard a strategic airborne command post.)

I'm also very interested in those who served in periods between major conflicts, i.e. who served in operations between 1918/9 and 1939...the world wasn't miraculously peaceful following the signing of the Treaty of Versailles. And very little honor is expended upon military members who 'stayed-the-course' in times other than war.

I would like to join the Military and War Project. I have recently been researching my ggguncle Edward Nicolls-202. He was a player of note during the War of 1812 and The Creek Wars, so I’d like to join those groups.

Admittedly, the Nicolls line of my tree used the British military as the ‘family business’, with scores of males joining, some of whom were barely teenagers. I would like to learn more about their participation while serving everywhere the British empire fought.

I would like to join the Korean War project. Researching the Korean War began as a search to learn about my late grandfather's service included the circumstances that lead to him being awarded a Purple Heart and Bronze Star. It has now became a passion project of mine to make sure that the stories of those who served in the "Forgotten War" will never be forgotten.

I have also done a lot of research about the 8th Army Army Air Force bombers of WWII as my granduncle was a bomber pilot. So I would be also willing to assist with that project also.

Hello i would like to join the World War 2 Project please. My Father's Uncle's and Father all was Enlisted. Also the Great War of 1914-1918. My Great Grandfather served during this time as well.

Thanks, I'd like to join the WW2 Group. I'm a Historian, Author and put up a large number of typically WW2 veterans each week with enough links for others to pick them up and link them.  I am not a storm chaser and my understanding of formatting leaves a lot for others to correct. My next book on the RAAF Deployment to Soviet Russia in 1942 will be released this year.

Unfortunately there is not a badge for World War II.  However you have the Military and War Badge, which covers French and Indian War, War of 1812, World War II, Korea Conflict, Vietnam. and recent wars.  So you are covered for World War II.

Hello. Can I join the projects; the Great War 1914-1918 and WWII? Ive got a little experience because of having great uncles in the US and Canada, all were in France. World War II is still a learning experience but not too much of a hill to climb. I’m into categorization now and that helps me see a bigger picture and maneuver wikitree categories more easily.
