F.Y.I.
Earlier in the week (Wednesday), Ian added a "connections button" to the Largest Unconnected Branches page. You may have seen this new button appear. What this does is when you click the button, it will display in a table all the connected profiles so that you can sort them or peruse them at will.
I use this connection button, to bring up the list of connected profiles so that I can identify unique family names to further search on.
You will need to be using the WikiTree BEE extension to make use of this feature.
NOTE: The maximum unconnected branch size for the 'connections" button to appear is 711. So, the larger unconnected branches will not have this button associated with them. Also, it won't have a button, if the profile is already connected to the main tree.
The table includes the following columns (sortable in ascending or descending order) per profile:
- Given name(s)
- LNAB
- CLN
- Birth Date
- Birth Place
- Death Date
- Death Place
Also, there is a "home" button next to each profile listed in the table so that you can bring up another popup table showing all the family members connected to that profile. The popup window can be moved around the screen.
Many thanks to Ian for implementing this!!!
