In the 1930 Census, my grandmother, Renee Malloy is mistakenly named "Bennie."  How should I correct this mistake?

Family Search will let you add corrections. There is an edit tool to make the suggested edit. I have found many typos with my gg grandfather's. Unfortunately, I don't remember if they were actually changed

Are you looking at the image or a transcription? You can submit changes to the transcription at both Ancestry and FindMyPast. I don't believe FamilySearch will let you do this. The original, of course, can't be changed.
