Who were the parents of Sarah Chamberlain?

I do hate a brick wall and I know sometimes they're inevitable.  But this one feels like there should be a way through as it is 19th Century and in New York.

I know a lot about Sarah Chamberlain's unpleasant death and quite a bit about her husband, but I cannot find who her parents are.  Any upstate New York experts out there?

I don't have an answer, but I checked Death Records 1848-1878 and she wasn't recorded (most deaths weren't, the vital records law was new).

Maybe try for an obituary? There was one Jersey City newspaper digitized if you have GenealogyBank. You could also try the Otsego County papers on NYS Historic Newspapers, she could even have been named in a relative's will as deceased, so try a few different types of searches. Also obits for all her kids, you sometimes see extended family or locations named.
