Frederick Charles Meyers b: Ontario, Canada d:1909 Grand Rapids, MI

Question

I have one dead end in my Genealogy Travels that has haunted me for years!

My G.Grandfather, Frederick Charles Meyers b: Ontario, Canada and d: 1909 Grand Rapids, MI his spouse was Mary Elizabeth Whiting b: ca 1851 Yoirkshire, England. 

While others of my family are from Sombra, Ontario region and mostly buried at the Riverside Cemetary in Sombra, Ontario, Frederic Charles and his wife, Mary Elizabeth elude me.

Does anyone have any information on these two family members?

after they married in michigan,they are shown having a child  Matida May Meyers

in Sonbra,Lambton,Ontario on June 7 1879.

They had a son John Whiting Meyer Aug 28 1891 ,Bay City Michigan. Sept

13 1891, Thats where it shows Mary Elizabeth Whiting born in England.

Confusion in the Meyer family???

York was part of Toronto Canada,Ontario,she was from Somtra.Ontario

married Oct 8 1867.

Mary E. Whiting Birthplace England.If you look at original document shows father

Richard Whiting,Mother Martha. Martha E. has 3 other sibling, John,William,

Thomas.

Somtra may really be Somira.???
