I am trying to find information on my Grandfather, George Long Franklin, born Nov. 1906, in Ohio, and died 18Aug1994  in Ashland, Ashland, Ohio. He never talked about his family. His father was George Franklin, born 1875 in Pennsylvania and his mother was Mary Jane "Jennie" West. She married twice more after. No other information is known at this time.

Hi Betty. Thank you for your answer. The last two are my family. The first two are the ones getting in my way of finding any history on my grandfather. His mother's maiden name was West. There were five children in this family. Mary Jane divorced my grandfather and married a Snyder. She had five other children and then divorced Snyder. She married one more time, but had no children. So I have nothing on either Grandpa George L. Franklin or Grandma Mary Jane West Franklin. Now my grandmother, Bernice Gray Franklin, has an extensive geneology tree. I don't need anything else on her. I am just more interested in Grandpa Franklin's history. But thank you so much for all of your hard work. Marilyn Humrichouser Albert.

Hi Betty. We wrote to each other in April about my grandfather, George Long Franklin. Now I need to apologise. What you have given me is exactly right. The family was tell me that his mother's name was Mary Jane "Jennie" West when her last name was really Kinsey, just like you said. As for his father his name was also George Long Franklin. He moved back to Pennyslvania after the divorce from Jennie. I have since found parents for George Long Franklin, Sr. and have his line all the way to England when they came to America. The little tips and tidbits you have me have helped me move the Franklin line further than I thought possible.

So I am sorry and am so greatful for  your help. You are very good at this and I wish to be this good when I learn this system a little.

Again, Thank You from the bottom of my heart. I never could have done this without you.

Sincerely,

Marilyn Humrichouser Albert.

Thank you so much Chris Mckinnon for these answers. I do remember my mother talking about an Aunt May, so this may be who she is referring to. I will see what I can find. And thank you again, so very much.
