Joining the Notables Project

Question

I would like to join the Notables Project.  I have several notables in my tree that I have not found on the notables list and I would like to add them.  I keep being referred back to the Notables Project page which is of no help.  there needs to be clear cut steps as to how one can join.  I have already tried to follow the instructions but nothing has worked so far.

Then just be patient, as the people involved are volunteers, just like you, and have lives outside WikiTree. :)
