The unsourced tag is added automatically if you create a profile with no sources; you need to edit to remove the tag after adding sources. Adding links to sources would also be helpful; most of those records should be indexed on the FamilySearch website.

Do you mean the "This profile lacks source information" message? If so, just delete the "{{Unsourced}}" text from the top of the profile.

Hi

You are not doing anything wrong, it just takes a while to learn the ins and outs of Wikitree.

You've actually made a good start by adding a biography and sources, I have to go back and upgrade all my early profiles as they lack sources.

I recommend inline citation of sources as it attaches the source to the related fact in the bio, and makes it much easier to follow when you have a larger number of sources.

I've put a sample narrative and inline citation created using Wikitree Sourcer in the comments section of the profile, you can find that App under Find at the top of the profile, Find>Apps>Wikitree Sourcer, it's at the bottom.

It works on various platforms including FamilySearch and Ancestry and lets you search those sites for records.

I'd also recommend Wikitree-X, it lets you transfer entire profiles to Wikitree, they still need editing and sourcing afterwards.
