Does anyone know a site to obtain totally free obituaries for the 1800's and prior?

I am finding that obituaries open up a slew of ancestory information. I run across one for my family every once in a great while.

Is there a totally free site besides myheritage.com that offers obituaries?

Thank you

Wikitree is worldwide. An indication of location when posting a question may be more likely to garner an early response.

If you are in Australia, there is Trove; http://trove.nla.gov.au/

Many Australian newspapers are online and searchable up until about the mid-1950's.
