I need to merge Dorothy Dalton Stiles, and cannot figure it out!

Question

I am having so many issues with the merging of family.  I have alot of the 1700 family.  Trying to merge Dorothy Dalton Stiles and it isn't working.  I messaged the Dalton manager and haven't heard back. Now what, and why isn't it working for me!

Can you include inks to the profiles you are trying to merge?   How long ago did you initiate the merge?

I proposed a merge of the two husbands, [[Stiles-4894|Ebenezer Stiles (1669-1746)]]  and [[Stiles-1685|Ebenezer Stiles (1665-1746)]].

When you propose then what happens? Do I have to do something?  (Sorry still learning this program!)

And I just proposed merges for a couple other family members - collaboration will get the task done :)

Jan: you can approve the merge for any of the profiles you manage. If other profile managers don't respond they will all receive auto approval in 30 days and you can complete merges.

When you propose a merge the manager of both of the profiles (or just the other profile if one is managed by you) need to approve the merge before it goes ahead.  If they don't either approve or reject within a month, then it gets auto-approved.

Once a proposed merge is approved, either by both PM or because of default approval after 30 days, the merge still must be completed manually.  It is not automatically done, as some people think after the 30 days.
