What happened to Mary Haynes who was married to Griffith Hatfield

Griffith Hatfield from Washington Twp. Defiance Co. Ohio married Mary Haynes in 1856. Can't find any info about her. She was my great-grandmother & my grandmother Juliette Hatfield was raised by a Hanna family ( Defiance Co.) from time she was very young. No one knows what happened to Mary or Griffith Hatfield after 1880 or so.

Is Mary Donley the same person as Mary Haynes?
I"m not sure. Perhaps the graveyard could help answer that question.

Something for anonymous to look into if there is interest.
Griffith Hatfield and Mary Donley are my 3rd great grandparents.  I believe the marriage was recorded incorrectly for Griffith and Mary Donley.  Two months before Mary and Griffith were married, Mary's sister Eleanor Donley married a John Haynes.  I think when the marriages for the county were recorded the names were mixed up.  All of the death certificates I can find for Griffith and Mary's children say Mary's maiden name was Donley.  I can't find any previous marriage for Mary to a Haynes which could also be a possibility.

Mary is buried beside Griffith in Fountain Grove Cemetery.  The Cemetery records do not have a date for her death or burial.  Probably before 1869 as Griffith married again.
