How do I remove my name as a manager of a file that I thought was an ancestor and is not?

I originally mistook a group of ancestors to be mine and accepted manager of profiles.  I learned my mistake and no longer wish to be the manager of those certain profiles.

Hi Jim,

On the profile, click on the "Privacy" tab. Scroll down and click the "Remove Yourself" button under the "Trusted List for Profile of X" section.

Go to the profile.

Go to the Privacy tab

Click Remove Yourself

And now you're no longer a profile manager or on the Trusted List. The only exception would be a still living private person, but hopefully those are not in that category.

Individually click privacy and scroll down to Remove Yourself
Go through your watch list to find them - If you adopted them on the same date sort by date to find them.

Go to the Privacy tab on one of the profiles and scroll down to the Trusted List section.

If you don't want to manage them but still want to be on the trusted list, click the "Remove as manager" link to the right of your name.

If you want to remove the profiles entirely from your Watchlist, click the "Remove Yourself" box below the list of people on the trusted list. That'll both take you off the trusted list and remove you as manager.

If there's more than a handful of profiles you no longer want to manage, you can use the Bulk Trusted List Changes page to select the profiles and remove yourself from all of them at once; that's usually a little faster than removing yourself from one profile at a time.
