Profiles need work

On 31 May 2022 Kay (Sands) Knight wrote on Cotton-629:

FindAGrave without headstone or other reliable information is not a reliable source. Marriage to Henry Nicholson doesn't match relationships on the profile, and likely applies to someone else. How was someone born in New Hampshire baptized in England? How did she have a daughter, with the same name as her, at age 10? Said daughter is also married to her spouse Young-90. Young appears to have sources but needs post merge cleanup. Spouse Carter-37670 is unsourced (just an online family tree) Profile and associated profiles need work.

I wonder if there is a connection to Henry Cater (1827 - 1865). He was a civil war veteran of the 106th New York Infantry Regiment and died in1865 leaving a widow named Sarah A. Cater and a child.

There is a Henry Nicholson that married a Sarah Cotton I will look more tomorrow, but it maybe a different Sarah Cotton that I have not entered. I have a document of it in Ancestry. This Sarah Cotton is my 6th great aunt, so I don't have a lot of information on her.

It looks to me that it was probably this Sarah's widowed mother who married Henry Nicholson. This Sarah had the surname Cater, not Cotton, at the time.
