How to remove a family link that is incorrect and should not be attached

How do I remove a family link, I have recently learned that part of my family line is so very wrong, I went off 3rd hand information that was passed on through out our family only to discover that it is completeley wrong, I want to remove all the incorrect links but I can not figure out how to do this. If you know how to do this I world really appreciate it. I now know that I need to check and double check the information before it is added so that this never happens again,

I just stumbled onto this profile as well and found that the family changed from White to Mulatto. However, when looking at the attached parents, they are listed as White.

on the edit tab right hand side use the add/remove link on the 2nd page clickremove at bottom of page it will show the name click the circle next to the name you want to remove and then save changes

Father:	[add father]
Mother:	[add mother]
Siblings:	[add/edit]  No siblings
Spouses:	Rachel (Drake) Clark      [edit marriage to Rachel]  [add/remove a spouse]

They're somebody's family, if they aren't yours.  Only remove the connections that are actually incorrect.

On the Privacy tab, you can remove yourself from the Trusted List of any profiles you aren't interested in.
