Bug : incomplete "Explain your changes" field

This is a bug I've noticed mostly when updating the "100 Circles" page.

See https://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Special:NetworkFeed&space=31186502

For exemple on June 10 I put "update Barthelemy" in the "Explain your changes" field. It was saved as "update Bar".

Various such random cuts of the string entered happen regularly, w/o any obvious rule.

Not critical, but just irritating.

Are you using your browser's autocomplete when filling out the field?

What browser are you using?

Yes, I use sometimes the browser's autocomplete. The bug does not seem correlated with the fact that I use it or not, but I would not swear it is or not.

Firefox. Last version.
My impression is that what gets saved is what you type before the autocomplete completes.
Might be. I have to test that.
I think we had the same issue on person profiles (with Firefox), but I just assumed it was draft-saving related.

If you do notice it happening without the use of auto-complete though, let me know what you typed so I can figure out if there is another issue too.
OK Jamie, will do.
