I am seeking info on the ancestry of James Clark McGuire (McGuire-1269). I have him born on 6 Jan 1812 at Mt. Pleasant, Westmoreland Co., PA to Robert McGuire and Nancy Clark McGuire. I would like to learn more about the ancestry of his parents.

I added the sources I could find to his profile. The 1880 census lists his father as born in Ireland & his mother born in Virginia. I did not see a birth record.
