Can you give more details?  What are you seeing exactly?
Ok I want to give septimus and fanny harrison their parents doing septimus first, I put in basic details which is all I've got, then I tap add father to septimus, then the save icon comes up, it twirls for half and hour then nothing ,doesn't even go to draft, it shouldn't take that long to make a profile. Dawn
I've seen this happen, too.  I think it's just a glitch in the code (possibly a bad combination of the thing saving a draft and you trying to save the profile at the same time).  As this is only basic details, I would close that window and simply try again.
I'm thinking bad internet connection as I've tried doing septimus's father 3 times now I only have names and year born.

Hi Dawn,

What dates are you entering for birth and death? There is currently a known bug where if the death date is in an invalid format it won't save a new profile.

I only have a birth year for both parents john harrison 1832, mary copestake 1834. It's all I have, except for a marriage date, but that's not needed in a profile.
I've had another go at profile but refuses to save.
Hmm. What are you entering into the source field?
I just write " family search web site"  I've gone over it and can't figure it out. Don't know what else to do.
"Family Search Website" is not in itself a valid source. Familysearch provide source citiations with each source, which you should copy and paste.
Ok I haven't done a copy and paste but have seen it, so will try, thanks. It's got to be something simple usually is.
Hey everyone I've done it I had my brain working overtime the source was not the problem  it was the death date, so finally my great grandfather has some parents. Now I will do my great grandmothers parents.
I'm glad you figured it out!
Yay! Congratulations on how much you've learned. You figured it out in the end. You can do this!
