I'm not much for sports, but I do like playing tennis, especially badminton. I got pretty good and competitive at both in high school, at least in my aerobics class. I was the second best in the class at badminton by a hair (I had a good "rival"!), and I think there were 6 students who were better than me at tennis, but I really, honestly enjoyed playing against better players. It makes the challenge more fun. Something to keep you going, to keep you striving for self-improvement, analyzing and learning from others' better tricks and maneuvers. I haven't played either in years, but maybe I'll ask some friends sometime if they want to go hit some birdies, especially my bird watcher friend, just for her reaction.
