Why are all links to G2G contributors profiles being redirected?

Question

Previously, when we clicked on a G2G contributors name we would be taken to that person's personal profile page. Today I'm receiving a redirect message stating:

Moved Permanently

The document has moved here.

Apache/2.2.29 (Amazon) Server at www.wikitree.com Port 443

 

What's up?  Clicking on the above link (here) does not go the individual's profile page.

Whatever it was, it must have been fixed - the links are working fine for me now.

Just now, when I click on the link to you that follows your response to me yields:

The redirect takes me to: http://www.wikitree.com/wikicard/Gordon-4080/626

In the past, presuming I remember correctly, the link would have taken me to: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Gordon-4080

 

Regardless, I've never seen the redirect message before.

 

By browser is Firefox 37.0.2, the latest version.

This is totally nuts!  When I tried before, I clicked on the link to your name here, then tried clicking on links to a few names on the Question List page and they all worked.  I just tried your name and my name on this page again and they're fine.

It's not a browser problem and it's not anything else in your computer.  That message comes from the server and I can't imagine why the server has it in for you!

If it was a question of permissions then the server would either re-direct you to another page that you are permitted to see or give you a message saying that you are not permitted to see the page.  ... so, it's not that you're not logged in (besides if you were not logged in, your name would show as anonymous) and it's not be that you are not permitted to see these things that ALL logged in members can see.

I suggest that you try checking other than G2G to see if the problem extends to any other things and also add the tag team to this question to hopefully get faster attention.

I just saw your note about where you go when you click my link - it didn't take you to my profile in the past (that's the link you said it used to) - it would have taken you to the persons G2G profile (and still does so for me).  It looks like the first link is to the bottom part of my G2G profile - this is really weird.

I am out of ideas here - it will take someone with server access to troubleshoot this.
