How to Change Unknown Certainty for George Montomery DD

Question

Montgomery-2619 comes up as "unknown certainty" to his father, Adam. I see lots of sources, but when I looked to see who the profile manager was, it was the Scottish Project and wouldn't let me contact anyone to ask why it was listed as "unknown certainty" and what might be missing.

Is the Scottish Project still going? Or, who would I need to contact about this profile? I've contacted another family member to see if they can help me on a couple of sources in this lineage.lineage.

Any help would be appreciated.

I suspect the issue you have is that the daughter Jane's connection to her parents isn't well documented, and so her certainty is somewhat suspect. There is a published family genealogy as a source, but it provides no sources for us to check. If perhaps her baptism could be located, or if she was named in a will of one of her parents that would be considered good proof.
