How to Unlock orphaned Locked profile

Question

I edited the profile of an orphaned profile, Mildred (Irby) Shelton, adding missing Birth Date and source. I saved that information but forgot that I would lose access if I did not adopt.  I now can’t access her profile.   Her parents are [[Irby-155|Dan Irby]] and [[Woodall-28|Mary Woodall]], she shows as [private daughter (1930s - unknown)] along with Dan Irby, Jr.  She passed away in 2003.

How can get access back so that I can finish the work that needs to be done.

Hi David. The only way to achieve what you want may be to email the WikiTree Team explaining the situation and asking that you be made manager of the profile.

Should have searched for the answer.  this was answered back in 2020 and 2016.
