Willie Smith is my cousin still LIVING in Shetland.  He told me that anyone can read or look at his profile.  Willie is used to publicity as he has written a oouple of books one being "Willie's Tales & Travels" published in 2011.

Is there a way I can make his profile availaable to anyone wishing to view it?

No the Wikitree rules don't allow living persons to have the privacy level on green or open.  However, if the profile is on yellow the biography section will display.

you can set as either

Private with Public Bio Private with Public Biography
Same as Private but anyone can view the biography section.

or

Private with Public Bio and Family Tree Private with Public Biography and Family Tree
Same as Private but anyone can view the biography and family tree.

What does the yellow one mean - how much of the family tree would be viewable?
it all depends on the settings on the other family members on mine I am set to the yellow but my children are private and cannot be viewed same with my siblings  their information is not viewable but my parents who are green can be viewed and my ancestry beyong them
So if I set him to yellow, his biography can be shown but any family members living will still have privacy?  Know he said to use any photos but am still leery about showing his grandchildren, etc even tho his grandson is on his book.

Sorry don't quite understand the wording so am asking this question.
Only pictures of those set on green or open are visable on a profile with the exception of those that have a code in the bio to display the picture (again see my profile with my sister and I pic). and the image for the profile set as the primary will only be visable as a thumb nail image.
Thank you so much.  Really appreciate the help.  Can you tell me where the code is on the photos?

when you upload a image the code will be on the lower right hand side

below is an example  it will also be visable when you click on the image if the image is set to green or open

Use Inside Text

To use this image inside the text of a profile, try pasting this snippet of code into the bio/text section:

{{Image|file=Clark-15765-9.jpg
|caption=Jacqueline Clark Image 39
}}

To align it on the right side of the page, in a medium size, with a different caption:

{{Image|file=Clark-15765-9.jpg
|align=r
|size=m
|caption=Here's an image.
}}
Duh??  Sorry that went right over my head.  As said am not too computer savy.  Thank you in any case,

maybe this will help

hold your mouse over the begining of  the code below click and hold dragging to the end. it will highlight

then right click the mouse and a menu will appear click copy on that menu

go to your profile and in the bio edit tab  and  edit text box click the mouse and then rightclick and hit paste on the drop down menu

dont save  but go to show preview at bottom of your profile and you will see the image

here is the code below

{{Image|file=Clark-15765-9.jpg
|caption=Jacqueline Clark Image 39
}}

Thank you.  Don't have a mouse so unsure of how to attack this problem with my MacBook Air.

Will look tomorrow morning to see if I can find a mouse & set it up.  Must be one around as used to use a different machine.

here are instructions for a mac  so  where I said mouse it says cursor  smiley

Ah ha!  Know how to cut & paste with this mahine.  "You did not say that" - sorry not the brightest at this, but will give it a try tomorrow.  It is quite simple to cut & past on this machine.

Thank you so much for all your help.
