Barbara,

Did you look in the URL?

For instance, http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Johnson-16352 is in your URL or internet address. Your ID is Johnson-16352

The two profiles to which you're referring should have the ID numbers as part of their internet address.

It's challenging getting started on a new website when you don't really know your way around. I'm glad you came to G2G to get answers. Hope this helps you. If not, continue the discussion and include the internet address of the two profiles and someone will be able to help you.

I'm not sure what you mean. Every profile on WikiTree has an ID. You can find the ID at the end of the URL. For example, yours is Johnson-16352.

Barbara when you merge more than two profiles, you must first merge two then merge the next into the product of the first merge and so on.  The merge program is set for two profiles at a time.  Debbie hit the nail on the head when she talked about profile IDs being in the URL.  If you cannot find them let us know and we will try further assistance.
