info on Ellis Fair

Question

Ellis Fair is my ancester, we believe he was born in Cheraw SC and was married to Nancy Hamilton Easley, but can find no family info beyond this.

Someone else was looking and posted info they had in a genealogy book requesting help. This article shows perhaps a better birth date, parents and a brother for your line.  Might be nice to find out how this person connects, may be a lot closer relative. This additional info, though not verified gives a good starting point for further research.
